We will have the 2nd Annual Battle of the Schools between the Schools/Organizations attending Rock The School Bells 19.
THE RULES FOR "BATTLE OF THE SCHOOLS"
Performers/Groups for Battle of the Schools:
Each INVITED School/Organization, including Skyline College, can send a Student(s) to represent that School/Organization in the Battle of the Schools.
We will set a limit of 10 Performers/Groups to be a part of the "Battle of the Schools" Competition.
A School/Organization may send another Person/Group to be part of Battle of the Schools Competition if the 10 Competitor Slots have not been filled.
If we do not have 10 Performers/Groups for "Battle of the Schools", we will allow people the day of the event to sign up and be a part of "Battle of the Schools"
Please note that you and your group will need to be approved from the RTSB19 Staff prior to officially becoming a participant in the Battle of the Schools.
Type of Performance for Battle of the Schools:
Each Performer/Group will be allowed up to 2 MINUTES and not over 2 minutes for their performance. If a group goes over the allotted 2 minutes, their performance will end exactly at that 2 minute mark in their performance and will be judged by what they have performed up to that point in their performance.
Each Performer/Group can Sing, Rap, Dance, or perform anything they would like to for their performance.
Tech/Sound for Battle of the Schools:
We will have a DJ that can play most music and can provide 2 Mics, Monitors, etc.
If you are one of the Performer(s)/Group(s) selected before Rock The School Bells 18, you can send your Tech/Sound Needs to the RTSB19 Staff.
If you sign up the day of Rock The School Bells 19 or you do not let us know your Sound/Tech needs prior to our event, we may not be able to be able fully satisfy your Sound/Tech needs.
Judging Each Performance for Battle of the Schools:
Judges for Battle of the Schools will be made up of RTSB Workshop Facilitators, RTSB Performers, RTSB Staff and possibly other designated Battle of the School Judges.
The Judges will select their Top 3 and rank them 3rd, 2nd and 1st Place and 3rd Place will get 1 Point, 2nd Place will get 3 Points, and 1st Place will get 5 Points.
The Performer(s)/Group(s) that have the most accumulated points from the Judges will become the First Winner for Battle of the Schools for Rock The School Bells.
